ABOUT ME :
I am a Level 2 Animation student studying at DJCAD. For me, animation is the ultimate form of expression—it gives me the freedom to tell stories, push boundaries, and bring ideas to life in ways no other medium can. Creatively, I’m fascinated by the human body and its anatomy, but I’m equally drawn to unsettling themes, the kind that stir deep, raw emotions. I love experimenting with different mediums, each adding its own unique texture to my work, but digital art captivates me most with its endless versatility. LIFE DRAWING
Life drawing is an essential practice that enhances my observational skills, deepens my knowledge of anatomy, and refines my ability to capture movement and form. By studying the human figure, I’ve gained a better understanding of proportion and structure, allowing me to create more dynamic, expressive artwork. This practice has also sharpened my ability to depict light, shadow, and texture, resulting in more realistic pieces. Beyond technical skills, life drawing has boosted my creativity and confidence, shaping my growth as both an artist and animator.
ANIMATIONS
I love animating; I love watching animations and I love improving my my ability to animate. My time at DJCAD has accelerated my ability in the field much faster than I imagined and I am eager to learn even more. Through education in 2D and 3D animation using a variety of software and techniques, my skill set has dramatically grown. The variety of tools to use and learn from has helped me to experiment with different styles and approaches. With each project, my understanding of animation deepens and my love for the art form grows as I am challenged to become a better animator.
ARTWORKS
These artworks are where I explore themes that enthral my imagination, express feelings and play with different art styles. I am drawn to concepts that are uncomfortable and disturbing for the emotion they evoke within a viewer. I love using different mediums and techniques that compliment the themes to enhance this emotion. Whether its through digital tools or traditional techniques, I take pleasure in the process of discovery, blending different styles and materials to bring my ideas to life. Each of my artworks is a chance to challenge myself, discovering new viewpoints and transforming as an artist.
